While in college, it can become very hectic juggling school, work, relationships ( platonic & romantic) and social life at the same damn time. I can tell you personally, that I cannot go a full semester without talking a day or two or even a week to myself to process my thoughts and my purpose. Mental Health is a person's condition with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being and in college, there is always a need for a self-evaluated checkup
Beyoncé is known for her iconic Halloween outfits, but in recent years she has gone from cute and classic costumes to culturally aware homages to legends. She has brought forward a sound message about how black people have influenced the culture with every costume she has done. Beyoncé has found her niche during the spooky season and has brought black culture to the forefront of people’s minds every October 31st.
Every year the rest of the BEE-HIVE and I wait in suspense to see who she celebrates that year. Since 2014 Beyoncé or The Caters pay tribute to black culture and do so gracefully and in a very modern way.
Gucci has recently partnered with Dapper Dan for an official collaboration. He now has the ability to make custom pieces for the luxury brand that are exclusive to the Dapper Dan collection. But, most luxury brands were not fans of Dan's work in the 90's when he made their designs flashier, more vibrant and fresh. He had to close his 24 hour shop in Harlem because of all the lawsuits he had for altering their work. Now, the luxury brand community is trying to repair the damage they did on Dan's career by supporting his new career at the age of 63 in 2018.

During my Spring Break trip to Los Angeles, I tried to pack any and everything that I would need on my 5-day trip. Throughout the trip, the weather was perfectly sunny and moderate 60-65 degrees. Being that I went to California for the first time with 4 of my other friends from college, as you can probably imagine, not everything went as planned on the trip.
